Applications

New Functionality

As companies are sourcing more items from offshore locations, with attendant lead times extending into weeks or even months, it is critical to have a realistic long term view to ensure inventory levels can be maintained at optimum levels at all times.

Supply Chain Consulting’s Viewlocity Inventory Projection (VIP) provides customers with visibility into future inventory levels and allows businesses to take corrective action when future balances will fall above or below pre-determined limits.

VIP provides a central repository to collect relevant information and a robust visibility and alerting capability empowering businesses with the tools to alert them of disruptions and allows them to assess the downstream impact. VIP works in conjunction with the Inventory Aggregation feature, which allows customers to summarise inventory information at any desired level, then drill down to individual locations.
